National Ice Cream Month

Ice CreamIn 1984 President Ronald Reagan issued a proclamation declaring July as National Ice Cream Month and the third Sunday in July as National Ice Cream Day (July 21st this year). Interesting facts and tidbits about ice cream can be found at the International Dairy Foods Association web site and also the Mental Floss web site. The Tunxis Library subscribes to the magazine Mental Floss. It’s a very interesting and stimulating read.
