We Can Help You Make Sense of Our World

Leaders from around the world are speaking out at the United Nations this week, in a series of high-level meetings at the start of the General Assembly.

Get the facts—quick, fresh and reliable–about each of the countries in the spotlight on the web from the CIA World Factbook, a go-to source for many journalists, diplomats and foreign affairs specialists.

You can even compare countries with their neighbors and rivals, using an enhanced version of the World Factbook available on the web through the library’s Credo Reference database. From the Table of Contents, just click on the name of any country in the list (for instance, Afghanistan). Right below the pictures of its flag and map, use the drop down box to select a country you’d like to compare it with (maybe Pakistan).

Above the list of countries, you’ll find several ways to compare facts about all nations in the world.

Your library can help you make sense of it all.
