We hope you will come to a gathering of the Tunxis Humanities Athenaeum on Wednesday, November 10th at 3pm in Rm 6-127/128 where the topic under consideration will be:

Andrew Carnegie’s Gospel of Wealth

Panelists Bob Brown, Rafaele Fierro and Rachel Hyland will discuss a selection from Carnegie’s classic text on the responsibility of the wealthy toward civil society.

You may read the selection we will be discussing here.

The Tunxis Humanities Athenaeum is supported by a Strategic Initiative grant with the aim of establishing a monthly forum for all members of the Tunxis community to reflect on topics of interest in the humanities. The theme for Fall 2010 is civic engagement.
