Myths, Lies & Downright Stupidity – Audio CD Review

Myths, Lies & Downright Stupidity

By John Stossel, read by the author

3 CDs About 3 hours.

This is a great book to take out to see if you can listen to a book and not get lost on the way home.  You may laugh, but I had to turn off many books as I neared my exit on the Mass Pike or I would miss the exit and end up in Boston or Springfield.

John is an investigative reporter who ended up on 20/20.   He was a liberal and a greenie, but he found that many of the myths that were accepted were just that — myths.

He gives many examples such as challenging the education monopoly by pointing out that our children do not compete well with children in countries like Belgium which permit children to go to any school, not just the one in their district.

It is a very light-hearted book with lots of fun examples.

Enjoy it.
