W. H. Auden; Poetry – Book Review

Collected Shorter Poems, 1927-1957 by W. H. Auden.

I just discovered W.H. Auden this year as a result of being a Ralph Fiennes fan.  There was a blog post from the Guardian on Auden’s birthday with a link to Ralph reading one of Auden’s best known poems “As I walked out one evening“.  After I listened to it, and loved it, I had to find out more. I was not disappointed!  If you think you don’t have time to read, try poetry.  You can squeeze it in faster than a commercial!
